Citadela Directory plugin ontving vorige week een belangrijke update. Samen met tientallen kleine veranderingen, hebben we 2 nieuwe functies uitgebracht in één update: Multiple Packages & Permissions Manager. Ja, dat klopt, je kunt nu een gratis pakket instellen dat beperkt is en vervolgens een onbeperkt aantal premium pakketten....

Toen we begonnen met het plannen van het nieuwe Citadela thema en de bijbehorende plugins, besloten we om te bouwen op de beste e-commerce oplossing - WooCommerce. WooCommerce heeft niet alleen de meest uitgebreide collectie van betaal gateways; het is uitbreidbaar, volledig ondersteund door Automatic en werkt feilloos samen met het WordPress ecosysteem.

Wat hebben we nu gedaan? Citadela Directory plugin werkt als een laag bovenop WooCommerce en breidt de functionaliteit uit. Je gebruikt WooCommerce om abonnementspakketten toe te voegen en directory rechten te beheren direct in het WooCommerce pakket.

Het is de meest eenvoudige manier die je je kunt voorstellen. Nadat je je pakketten hebt ingesteld in WooCommerce, worden ze automatisch gekoppeld aan de Citadela Directory plugin. Het is een snelle, veilige, uitbreidbare en toekomstbestendige oplossing. Kijk hieronder om te zien hoe eenvoudig het is om het op te zetten.

Alle Citadela code in onze thema's en plugins is strikt volgens alle WordPress goedgekeurde codex. Op die manier, als je een ervaren ontwikkelaar bent, kun je het uitbreiden naar jouw behoeften (of een bedrijf inhuren om het voor je te doen). Vergeet niet dat Citadela een gratis thema is, vrijgegeven, beoordeeld en gecontroleerd door WordPress mensen. Onze gratis Citadela Directory Lite plugin is ook op WordPress.org, en het voldoet aan de hoogste WordPress-normen.

Dit is nog maar een begin, jongens. Nieuwe functies komen er heel snel aan 🙂

    I would like to know if “Item Gallery” will be available (now there is only featured image in the item detail page).
    And what about Event and Special Offers?

      Regarding Item Gallery – it’s really great idea. We really like your example of how this particular feature would come in useful to you. Our engineers have put this on the roadmap, and we expect to roll it out in the near future. When it’s available, we’ll be sure to let you know if you subscribe for the newsletters.       The process of selling on the front end from the point of view of item owner – purchase directory subscriptions is as follows:
      1. user chooses the package https://preview.ait-themes.club/citadela/directorypro/register-to-submit-your-items/.
      2. he’ll read the details of the package https://citadela.wpthemes.sk/product/premium-subscription/
      3. goes to the cart https://citadela.wpthemes.sk/cart/
      4. and consequently the accounts is going to be created (foreign registration process) https://citadela.wpthemes.sk/checkout/
      5. payment procedure (it must be set in woocommerce settings before)
      6. then the customer should already be logged in with the ability to add or manage the item custom post types etc..
      steps described above will be added to the documenatation too)

    But why should I allow the user to do a guest buying?

    1. Thanks for additional question.The reason for those e-shop owners who’d like to allow purchase without registration (e.g. some goods) and yet selling packages without registration is not possible.

  6. I really like your new directory. Looks sharp. I am needing to create a website that has a directory that can be seen only by logged on members though. I don’t see that you all have a membership plug in yet for this type of thing, but do you think I could use a 3rd party plug in and resitrict the directory pages to only those logged on? i.e. Ultimate Member? (We are selling memberships too, as well as listings, so it makes it a little complex.
