Beeldblok

  1. Adding an Image Block: When you’re editing a post or page, you can add an Image Block by clicking on the ‘+’ (plus) button. In the block library, search for or select the ‘Image’ block.
  2. Uploading or Selecting an Image: Once the Image Block is added, you can either upload a new image from your computer, select an image from your WordPress media library, or insert an image from a URL.
  3. Adjusting the Image: After you’ve added the image, you can click on it to see options for alignment (like align left, center, right), resize it by dragging the corners, or use the block settings on the right sidebar for more detailed adjustments. These settings may include changing the image dimensions, adding alt text for accessibility, and setting a link for the image.
  4. Additional Features: The Image Block also offers additional features like adding a caption directly under the image, applying basic image styles (like rounded corners), and even transforming the image to a different type of block (like a gallery or cover).
  5. Publishing: Once you’re satisfied with how the image looks, you can continue editing the rest of your post or page, or you can publish it.

Remember, the Image Block is just for individual images. If you want to add multiple images in a grid or slideshow, you would use other blocks like the Gallery Block or Slideshow Block.

The Image Block is a straightforward way to enrich your content with visuals, making it more engaging and appealing to your audience.
