In the CityGuide theme you can define type of header for all standard pages, items detail pages and items category/location detail pages.
Header for standard pages
For single pages of Items you can navigate to the Page Builder and on the top select your preferred type. Options for the standard pages are:
- Revolution Slider – displays Revolution Slider element in the header
- Header Map – displays header map element in the header
- Image – displays single image in the header. Image is specified by the Header Image input visible if this option is selected
- None – no header
Header for single Item page
To set up header of single Item page navigate to the Items Custom Post Type and create new one, or edit already created Item.
In the Item Options section is available option which specify the type of header.
Available options are:
- No header – no header
- Map – displays header map element in the header (standard Google Map or Google Streetview), do not forget turn on Header Map element in page builder for Item page to show the map in header
- Image – displays single image in the header. Image is specified by the Header Image input visible if this option is selected
In case the header type is set to Image and image is not defined in the Header Image field, the header image for currently edited Item will be taken from the Global Options of Item
To use Streetview in header of Item page, turn on Streetview option in item Address options.
Header for Category and Location taxonomies pages
Item Category and Location taxonomies can have custom header type too. This functionality is available in the create/edit page of Category or Location in the left WordPress menu.
Header Type in both taxonomies can be:
- Map – displays header map element in the header, do not forget turn on Header Map element in page builder for Item Categories or Item Locations page to show the map in header
- Image – displays single image in the header. Image is specified by the Header Image input visible if this option is selected
- None – no header
In case the header type is set to Image and image is not defined in the Header Image field, the header image for the currently edited taxonomy will be taken from the Global Options of Item Category / Location
